Lauren Stokes is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who earned her degree from Auburn University. With over 17 years of experience in nursing, she brings a strong clinical foundation and a genuine passion for patient care to Perdido Primary Care.

Lauren takes a thoughtful, individualized approach to medicine—focusing on prevention, early detection, and treating the whole patient. She is known for taking the time to truly listen, ensuring each patient feels heard, understood, and confident in their care plan.

Her commitment to building meaningful relationships and improving the health of her community is at the core of everything she does.

Outside of the clinic, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family. She is a proud mother of three daughters and shares her home with two dogs and a cat.


Dr. Austin Stokes is a board-certified Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine who earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, along with a Master’s degree in Theology. He completed his internship at Sacred Heart Hospital and went on to finish his residency at the University of Florida.

Dr. Stokes brings a comprehensive, whole-body approach to patient care, combining clinical expertise with a strong focus on prevention, function, and long-term health. His background in osteopathic medicine emphasizes treating the root cause—not just symptoms—allowing for more thoughtful, individualized care.

Outside of the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his family and fishing—often accompanied by his dog.


Cathy is a skilled nurse and aesthetic specialist who brings a diverse and well-rounded background to Perdido Primary Care. Before transitioning into nursing, she built a successful career as both a teacher and an insurance consultant, giving her a unique perspective and a deeply patient-centered approach to care.

Originally from Indiana, Cathy attended Indiana University and later pursued her passion for healthcare, becoming a Registered Nurse. She has a natural eye for aesthetics and is dedicated to helping patients feel confident, refreshed, and cared for.

Known for her warmth and attention to detail, Cathy creates a welcoming experience for every patient she treats.

Outside of the clinic, she enjoys gardening, spending time with her granddaughters, and all things skincare. We are grateful to have her share her time and talent with us in the clinic.


Emmarose supports the day-to-day operations and patient experience at Perdido Primary Care. She works behind the scenes on scheduling, communication, and organization, helping ensure the clinic runs smoothly for both patients and staff.

She is also involved in the clinic’s marketing and overall look and feel, with a focus on keeping things clear, approachable, and consistent.

Emmarose values creating a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable, informed, and taken care of from start to finish.

Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé, running, and life on her farm, where she cares for 13 chickens, two dogs, and a cat.


Hudson is a therapy dog who brings a calm, friendly presence to Perdido Primary Care. He loves greeting patients at the front desk and is proud to serve as the clinic’s mascot, helping create a more welcoming and comfortable environment.

Hudson is always happy to offer tail wags, free pets, and the occasional lick—and may even join you in your room during your visit.
